The Story Behind the Bottle

Vinho Sorvo did not begin in a vineyard.

It began in a busy city — in offices, hotels, boardrooms, and busy calendars. For years, I worked in finance and hospitality, moving through structured spaces with little room to breathe. But somewhere along the way, I realised I wasn’t connected to what I was doing — or to myself.

I did not want just to work. I wanted to create. With my hands, with nature, and with purpose. I think Vinho Sorvo is a personal rebellion against rushing.

The name Sorvo (meaning “a sip” in Portuguese) reminds me of how I want to live — slowly, thoughtfully, and with intention.

This is not mass production. This is small-batch, honest winemaking. Each bottle reflects a place, a moment, and a quiet decision to start again, in a land far, far away from home.

Vinho Sorvo exists because I needed to return to something real. Because I believe that wine, like life, is better when it’s unhurried, unforced, and shared.

If you open a bottle and feel even a hint of that — then the story is working…

Savour the Sip,
